You know my booklist? Well, there’s some code behind it, a small amount of PHP code that talks to a MySQL database. I’ve been working on this code, with varying degrees of vigor, for the past nine months or so. Now, at the urging of someone, I am releasing that very same code on the world. I am releasing it so it might grow into something more interesting, something that other people might find useful. (I am releasing it under the GPL.) I’ve never released code before, so I’m not exactly sure how it will all work out. But I am releasing it anyway, and I am hopeful. I call it Oddbook, and I am releasing it here.
