Fixing Problems is What I’ve Been Up To :: September 8th, 2002 ::

So. The whole Oddbook thing has been going well. I’ve received much email, most of which has alerted me to problems in the application, all of which has been supportive as all get-out. Which is encouraging.

If you’re having trouble with Oddbook, you can now check out a Bugs and Known Issues page, which is new. Hopefully it will be helpful. Also, I’ve released a new version of Oddbook that, as near as I can tell, solves all of the problems addressed in the emails I’ve received.

Who? Who helped out? Many people. Jessamyn has found a lot of the earlier bugs, has suggested new features, and was the one who came up with the idea of releasing the software to begin with. She has also been very supportive of me, even when I’ve been crabby and undeserving of said support.

Also, Greg, Will, Lee, and Jay. These people provided help, insight, and constructive criticism even though they were under no obligation. Therefore, they rock.

And of course, I’ll never forget to thank Jeremy, whose mp3’s I’ve been listening to while debugging. How could I have survived this long without having a copy of Yo La Tengo covering “Somebody’s Baby”?
