As of now, I'm no longer actively supporting Oddbook. I started law school in August of 2003, and since then have found very little time to respond to the small number of emails that users of the application have sent in to me. While it's somewhat sad for me to say goodbye to this old project, I don't feel it's fair to those users who might go months without a response from me to their questions.
So, I'm still going to make the code available. But please be aware that there are quite a number of bugs and security holes, and you, as the end user, are assuming the risks when using it.
Be well, and happy reading.
welcome to oddbook 1.0, a little php app to help you keep track of your obsessive reading. If you are not an obsessive reader, you may not need this.
oddbook will let you keep track of your books via a series of web forms. authors are accessed via pulldown list so no author typos munging up your data. you can sort your booklist by month, by author, title, or rating. you can also mess with the CSS to make it look however you want.

stuff in the next release might include: stop word control for titles, searchability and multi-year archiving. we're also open to suggestions. it's licensed under the GPL so you can make your own verstion if you're so inclined. there's two versions here to download: the tarball and a zipped directory. choose, download and be sure to read the readme.
support is minimal, but it's friendly. if you're having trouble, check out the bugs page, then contact us if you need help. happy reading.
